ACTION BEAT (Trurth Cult/Southern, Fortissimo, Winning Sperm Party, Unlabel, Urquinaona, Sounds Of Subterrania, Ernest Jenning)

Action Beat are a grounded, no nonsense, noise rock band from Bletchley comprising of as many people, instruments and amplifiers available to them at any given time, in any given situation. This group of motley new towners have roughhoused the noise rock torch from the now feeble hands of their New York no wave bearers, lit a bunch of joints then strapped it to the front of whatever weakass vehicle they plan on spending the next two months touring Europe in. Alongside fellow brethren Stig Noise Soundsystem, Sly and The Family Drone, Hey Colossus, Bilge Pump, Part Chimp, That Fucking Tank, Shield Your Eyes and many more they have helped redefine the very concept of lads playing rock in the UK. Expect loads of people playing the same thing on loads of instruments with all the amps turned up full, conducted by a dude who looks like a grown up Jimbo Jones, who may have no choice but to remove his shirt, due to chaffing. They’ll be accompanied for the evening by G.W Sok, one of the founding members of Dutch anarchist punk band, 'The Ex’; playing with the group from their inception in 1979 until 2008. G.W and Action Beat can often be seen performing together and their 10” EP “A Remarkable Machine”, released on Ernest Jenning last year, is one of their best so far.

ALA MUERTE desolate experimental drones for voice and electronics by New York native Bianca Marie Muerte in sometimes solo, sometimes collaborative guises. Currently preoccupied with using frequencies to explore altered states of consciousness and reality.

BLACK GORGON one man (Irk singer Jack Gordon incidentally), one kit, one mic and a bunch of ripping samples and noise and shiz. Think Wizardzz/Lightning Bolt/Black Pus/Wham City/Quintron all rolled into one thing.
