Golau Glau are an anonymous collective of artists, photographers and musicians, with particular interests in social history, not-silences and environments under threat - both urban and natural. Their body of work to date has examined themes of domestic, social and sexual politics; popular culture; scandal; folk history and Anglican and pagan rituals.

The exhibition, which runs from 10th-13th November at Test Space Leeds, will feature a new sound and photography work about the closure of public libraries, 'Public Interest', and a selection of other sound works, videos and photographs by Golau Glau. There will be a programme/zine to accompany the exhibition, and it's free to get in.

The launch night features people Golau Glau like:
HOOKWORMS (LIVE) - amazing psych dream stare rock
RUNNERS (DJ) - celebratory electronics and all the best ideas
EWAN JAMIESON (DJ) - from ace local music website A Negative Narrative
It's free and starts at 7.30pm.

Not only does the exhibition run to the 13th, on Saturday 12th from 2.30pm there's James Balf from Sonic Router playing a laid-back vinyl-only DJ set and Lauren Smith from Voices for the Library doing a talk on public library closures. Check the website closer to the time for details.
