   Open it up, why the devil not? All welcome. Expect a shoddily run affair...just like my initial thread (thanks Stroidy). It won't have the glitz of the 1 in 12 tournament nor will it have the Kito/Hyland style organisational backing. There won't be a trophy unless I find one somewhere. It's all about the kudos of beating your fellow man/woman. You get the picture. Should be fun.

   In other news: Tobey Maguire is heavily involved in a film going by the title of Pawn Sacrifice, about the famous 1972 match between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky. According to the article, Maguire may even play the leading role of Fischer himself! Prang!

   Tommy coopers 'just like that' golf game with 'magic' balls

   I think whoever has Mike Reed's pop quiz game should also bring that out.

    joe and heather have that, but i have a winner's badge. i don't think i ever won the game, i think i got it separately from a charity shop, but we could combine the two assuming joe/heather are happy for the badge to be given away at the end.
