On The Bone Presents
MEN DIAMLER
All the way from South Westerly Cheltenham comes the voice you only thought you had to pay mega-cash and sit through loads of Italian next to posh cunts for. Men Diamler is a drunken medieval bard powerhouse that will knock you off your chair, feet or lonely tree stump. His songs are equal parts classic tragedy, comedy and punk. Utilising only acoustic guitar and gigantic lungs Men Diamler has the charisma and songs that someone like David Thomas Broughton dreams of and alt folk hero hunters dream of hearing. GARETH S BROWN
You may recognise Gaz from his past and current musical endeavours in Leeds well-knowns Hood, Canvas, Rauschen and under his previous guise as The Unpleasants. On his own with his magic computer box Gaz writes and plays uplifting and ecstatically saddening minimal compositions that fall somewhere between Aphex Twin and Philip Glass’s ambient workouts and the music off of Amelie. His myspace page says he’ll have a new album out soon on Misplaced Music. You can read that for yourself at
