The New Art Quartet are a Leeds based free improv/experimental group, taking influence from Sun Ra, The Spontaneous Music Ensemble, The Art Ensemble of Chicago, Last Exit and beyond…

Joel Stedman – Bass Clarinet, Flutes
Ozzy Moysey – Double Bass, Cornet, Bells, Gong
James Milligan – Guitar, Noise
Joe Simmonds – Drums


Then… a Jam (ALL WELCOME).

With this event, we want to create a welcoming envrionment, bringing together any musicians, poets, dancers, artists that want to join in. So by ‘Jam’ we mean for anyone to get involved. Not just musicians!

Dancers??? —– Come and do your thing!

Poets??? —–It’s a chance to read your stuff!

Artists???—there’s quite a bit of space to sit and draw/paint/whatever!

Musicians???—– Bring instruments and play!

Wharf Chambers is a members’ club and you need to be a member, or guest of a member, in order to attend. To join, please visit wharfchambers.org. Membership costs £1 and requires a minimum of 48 hours to take effect.
