Cops and Robbers present The Yummy Fur: last ever tour

Drag and Drop, together with Cops and Robbers, are proud to present The Yummy Fur live in Leeds on their last ever (ever) tour. This is their first gig in Leeds for over ten years and one of only three UK dates before John and Paul return to their duties in the 1990s and Franz Ferdinand. If you need to catch up with their enormous back-catalogue you’ll find loads of free mp3 downloads at Last.fm.

Support comes from Please (featuring Michael, previously of Glasgow band V-Twin) and Two Minute Noodles; Jonny Strangeways will be DJing through to the early hours.

The gig takes place on Thursday 16th December at the Brudenell Social Club. Entry is £6. We do expect this to be a busy night so please buy a ticket if you are planning to travel.

More info and ticket links are on our calendar here or on our Facebook event page.

TWO MINUTE NOODLES have had to cancel due to an injury – apologies. Instead we have..

BEARDS, a two girl one boy assault on the kind of wonky, complicated yet utterly danceable rock music that Leeds is so good at. Having started out as a shambolic party band like LUNG LEG Beards have matured into a true tour de force of the Leeds music scene. Their first LP ‘Brick By Boulder’ was described by Norman Records thus: “somewhere between early Arab on Radar, The Units and The Minutemen with hints of UK d.i.y outsiders Bilge Pump and Cleckhuddersfax in there for good measure”
