Broo Ha Ha, Soccer 96, Hands and Fingers

Monkey Wrench, a new monthly extravaganza of innovative music continues on Saturday, July 17, 2010 @ Santiago’s (1 Grand Arcade, City Centre, Leeds LS1 6PG) and every 3rd Saturday after that. This time featuring Broo Ha Ha, Soccer 96 and Hands and Fingers with visuals by Caroline Donut and tunage from da Moose. Doors at 8.30 pm. £5 on door or £3 in advance or concessions. Get ready!

Broo Ha Ha label themselves as alternative psychedelic jazz Organ magazine calls them “Crimson coloured Voivodian jazz” which seems closer to our own description of these mighty Leeds death-jazz-funksters who have a healthy love of all things Zorny and Steve Colemany.

Soccer96 is a mysterious Brighton outfit that concern themselves with reproducing solar flare-like energy but to us it sounds like we’ve died and gone to Tron heaven.

Hands and Fingers is the alter ego of Wiganite Stephen Hitchen, now based in Leeds. Expect chilled and funky glitchworks.
