For the past decade Matt Valentine and Erika Elder have been formulating an ancient-modern universe of sound from their base deep in the Vermont woods, via their own Child of Microtones imprint as well as prolific activity on some of the most respected boutique labels in the world. Their latest ‘Barn Nova’ follows two previous killer cuts on Ecstatic Peace. They honestly slipstream peak Neil Young-esque Americana, Grateful Dead harmonix, old time front porch vibes, and time / space defying spectral jams akin to Acid Mothers Temple.

Between them Alan Courtis & Aaron Moore have been part of or collaborated with Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Damo Suzuki (Can), Sir Richard Bishop (Sun City Girls), Yoshimi P-Wee (Boredoms), Chris Corsano, Michael Snow, Volcano the Bear, Birchville Cat Motel and members of Avarus and Kemialliset Ystävät.
